Here are 3 things you should do if you're stuck in the house!

We are living a new normal right now. Although this is something that we did not anticipate, it is something that we may have to get used to for awhile. For some, this coronavirus epidemic will allow them to find hidden talents and give them an opportunity to look for other paths to take. While others may be focused on the present and finding a way to provide for their families. Things may seem difficult right now but we will make it through!
Below I have provided three tips that can help during this time:
1. Update your resume.
If you have been laid off, furloughed, etc., now is the time to update your resume or create one if you do not already have one. It's always good to be prepared. Resumes represent your skills, work experience, and accomplishments. So make sure your cover letter is updated and that your resume represents everything you have done up to this point. If you weren't fulfilled at your job or needed a change of scenery, this is your chance to seek new opportunities. 2. Have more than one stream of income.
One thing that this crisis has taught me is to have more than one stream of income. We often get comfortable with having our 9 to 5 and do not think about having another source of income. If you've been on social media, I am sure you have seen the panic over essential items running out. I have seen people create their own mask, sanitizer, and digital products. Use the extra time to find something that you are knowledgeable about and/or have a passion for. Or find something that can bring about residual income. Whether its a digital product or class, you can make some extra money from it.
3. Do some spring cleaning.
Now is the time to get rid of stuff you have been hanging on too. Go through your closets, garages, and drawers. You will be surprised what has been hiding in there. You can even sell your items on sites such as amazon, ebay, and Facebook marketplace. Why not turn your treasure into some dinero!
